본 내용은 귀하와 주식회사 캐논(이하 "캐논"이라 함)과의 사이에 있어 이 계약서와 
함께 제공되는 Linux용 캐논 프린터 드라이버(이하 "제품"이라 함)에 통합된 캐논 
또는 그 사용 허가자의 소프트웨어 프로그램 및 Readme 파일 부록의 명세표 1에 
나열된 소프트웨어 프로그램의 사용에 관하여 적용되는 법률적인 계약(이하 
"계약서"라 함)입니다. 아래에서는 캐논 또는 그 사용 허가자의 이와 같은 
소프트웨어 프로그램을 "소프트웨어"라고 합니다.

소프트웨어를 사용하기 전에 본 계약서에서 설명하는 모든 권한과 제한 사항을 주의 깊게 
읽고 숙지하십시오.

아래 1조항의 설명에 따라 소프트웨어를 사용함으로써 귀하는 본 계약서의 모든 
조건에 동의하게 됩니다. 귀하가 계약 조건에 동의하지 않을 경우에는 본 
소프트웨어를 사용하지 마시고 즉시 그대로 소프트웨어를 취득한 곳에 
반환하십시오.

1.사용권의 허용

캐논은 본 제품에 대해서만 소프트웨어를 사용(여기서 "사용"이란 저장, 로드, 설치, 
액세스, 실행 또는 표시를 의미함), 복사, 배포, 제3자가 사용 및 복사하도록 허용할 
수 있는 개인적이고 제한적이며 비독점적인 사용권을 허용합니다. 귀하는 개인적 
사용에 한해 소프트웨어를 수정하거나 이와 같은 수정 항목의 디버그를 위해 
동일하게 리버스 엔지니어링할 수 있습니다. 귀하는 여기에 포함된 동일한 조항 및 
조건 사항에 따라 제3자에게 소프트웨어를 배포할 수 있습니다.

2.제한 사항

귀하는 여기서 명시적으로 허용되거나 허가된 용도 외에 다른 용도로 본 
소프트웨어를 사용하거나, 위탁하거나, 사용권을 부여하거나, 팔거나, 빌려주거나, 
리스하거나, 제3자에게 양도하거나, 권리 이전을 할 수 없습니다.

3.저작권 고지 사항

귀하는 본 소프트웨어 및 그 복사본에 표시되어 있는 캐논과 캐논의 사용권 취득업자의 
저작권 고지 사항을 수정하거나 제거하거나 삭제해서는 안됩니다.

4.소유권

캐논과 캐논의 사용권 취득업자는 모든 측면에서 본 소프트웨어에 대한 권리, 소유권 및 
지적 재산권을 보유합니다. 여기서 명시된 경우를 제외하고는, 캐논은 캐논과 캐논의 사용권 
취득업자의 지적 재산권에 대한 어떠한 명시적, 묵시적 사용권이나 권리도 귀하에게 
허용하거나 권리 이전하지 않습니다.

5.수출 제한

귀하는 해당 국가의 모든 수출 법규와 제한 및 규정을 준수할 것에 동의하며, 그러한 법규, 
제한 및 규정을 위반하거나 또는 필요한 모든 승인을 얻지 않고서 본 소프트웨어를 직접 
또는 간접적으로 수출 또는 재수출하지 않을 것에 동의합니다.

6.보증 책임 없음 및 배상 부인

본 소프트웨어는 명시적이거나 묵시적인 어떠한 보증(상품성에 대한 보증과 특정 목적 
적합성에 대한 보증을 포함하며 이에 국한되지 않음)도 없이 “있는 그대로” 제공됩니다. 본 
소프트웨어의 품질, 기능과 성능에 따른 모든 위험은 귀하에게 있습니다. 본 소프트웨어에 
결함이 있는 것이 증명될 경우, 귀하가 필요한 모든 서비스, 수리 또는 정정 비용을 
부담합니다.

캐논, 캐논의 자회사 또는 계열 회사, 도매업자나 딜러, 및 캐논의 사용권 취득업자는 본

사용권 취득업자가 그와 같은 손해의 가능성을 사전에 알고 있었더라도) 책임을 지지 
않습니다.

귀하는 본 소프트웨어나 그 사용에 관한 모든 청구로 인하여 발생하는 모든 책임을 캐논, 
캐논의 자회사 또는 계열 회사, 도매업자나 딜러, 및 캐논의 사용권 취득업자로부터 관련 
법률이 허용하는 최대 한도까지 면제합니다.

7.기간

본 계약서는 본 소프트웨어를 사용함으로써 효력을 발휘하며 계약이 종료되기 
전까지 유효합니다. 귀하가 본 소프트웨어를 파기함으로써 본 계약을 종료할 수 
있습니다.  

귀하가 본 계약의 조건을 준수하지 못할 경우 캐논은 본 계약을 종료할 수 있습니다. 
본 계약이 종료됨에 따라 캐논이 각각의 법적 권리를 이행하는 것 외에도 귀하가 본 
소프트웨어를 즉각적으로 파기해야 합니다.

전술한 내용에도 불구하고 4조항과 6~10조항은 본 계약이 종료된 후에도 유지됩니다. 

8.미 정부의 제한된 권리에 대한 고지

미국 정부 최종 사용자는 미국 정부의 임의의 에이전시 또는 정부 기관을 의미합니다. 미국 
정부 최종 사용자의 경우, 다음의 사항이 적용됩니다.
The SOFTWARE is "commercial items," as that term is defined at 48 C.F.R. 2.101 (October 
1995), consisting of "commercial computer software" as such terms are used in 48 C.F.R. 
12.212 (September 1995).  Consistent with 48 C.F.R. 12.212 and 48 C.F.R. 227.7202-1 
through 227.7202-4 (June 1995), all U.S. Government End Users shall acquire the 
SOFTWARE with only those rights set forth herein.  
The manufacturer is Canon Inc./30-2, Shimomaruko 3-chome, Ohta-ku, Tokyo 146-8501, 
Japan.

9.계약의 일부 유효

10.인정 사항

귀하는 본 계약이 귀하와 캐논 사이에 계약 내용과 관련하여 완전하고 배타적인 계약이라는 
사실에 동의하고, 본 계약이 귀하와 캐논 사이에 계약 내용과 관련하여 구두, 서면 또는 
어떤 형태로도 이루어진 모든 제안과 과거의 계약을 대체함을 인정합니다.
